Hey, it’s Aidan.

I am an Asian-American visual artist and aspiring arts educator. My painting and drawing practice works in a Realist style, but when fabricating sculptures I often enjoy delving in to the conceptual. Between these two disparate methodologies, I am most inspired by personal histories and the way in which they shape our perceptions about the mundane world.

I was born in Santa Monica, CA, but raised in Austin, TX. I’m currently a third-year undergraduate student at the University of North Texas’ College of Visual Arts and Design, pursuing a BFA in their Drawing and Painting concentration and a minor in Psychology. I’ve exhibited my works multiple times throughout my university stay, but as my interest in education and human development has grown, I’m currently seeking opportunities that would merge my interests.
